He says the information sharing and backup between the Repco Authorised Service centres is second to none and an important part of the business' success today.

Since commencing business in Barmera and the Riverland region in 1989, the car service Riverland Auto Repairs has enjoyed consistent growth from its early beginnings as a one-room 15x8 metre workshop with Con and Julie Tsorotiotis running the show. "We had work on top of work," Con remembers with a smile. Gradually the business expanded out into the old tyre shop workshop next door and brother George joined the team in 1992. Though Julie has moved on to other pursuits in recent years the Tsorotiotis brothers havent looked back.

The Tsorotiotis boys had engine oil in their blood, with their father being an aircraft mechanic. "He tried to talk us out of being mechanics but we didn't listen to him," Con laughs. Con began as an apprentice in the former Glossop Service Station before working at Berri mechanics the Flying Spanner, followed by Riverland Tyre and Mag Centre. Con considers his choice of an automotive career one of great reward he still thoroughly enjoys.
